Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Assembly Worker to join a premier manufacturing client in Northbrook, IL. This onsite role supports finishing operations on dental instruments, including buffing, grinding, shaping, and polishing. Training and safety are emphasized as you learn measurement techniques and quality checks.

The position offers first shift hours with a starting pay of $18 per hour, and opportunities to grow within the company as you develop technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with machines, tools, or equipment, including grinding machines and small tools for setup.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills in English.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive operations with attention to detail.
• Able to work under general supervision and make independent judgments regarding product quality.
• Willingness to learn to use measurement instruments and basic blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing operations on dental instruments (buffing, grinding, shaping, polishing).
• Use abrasive belts and wheels to finish hardened instruments with precision.
• Detect unacceptable quality and correct processes to meet standards.
• Maintain compliance with product specs using measurement tools and drawings.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines and record work performed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
