Job summary

METAL CRAFT, located in Elk River, MN, is seeking a FINISHER for our DEBURRING department to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, service, excellence, and innovation.

The FINISHER will perform deburring, polishing, washing, assembling, bead blasting, and visual inspections to ensure customer finishes. 1st shift: Mon-Thu 6am-3:30pm, Fri 6am-10am with overtime; non-exempt hourly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Deburring/finishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine cleaned objects to ensure conformance to standards.
• Use hand tools such as deburring knives, chamfer tools, sheet sandpaper, and files to finish parts.
• Operate and use vibratory finishing machines to tumble parts.
• Operate and use bead blast blasting systems.
• Able to pull set up sheets to complete parts.
• Obtain first piece and move forward on completing a job.
• Develop knowledge to be able to make edits to the set-up sheets to improve efficiencies.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
