Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fine Grade Dozer Operator to support site grading, mass excavation, mainline pipe installation, and processed water projects in heavy civil construction.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of bulldozer experience for fine grading, with GPS machine control experience preferred. Operate dozers to meet project specifications, read plans and stakes, and ensure safe, efficient site preparation for major infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years operating bulldozers for fine grading in heavy civil construction.
• GPS machine control experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• Experience in site grading, mass excavation, mainline pipe installation, or processed water projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers (e.g., Cat D5, D6, D8) for fine grading, slope work, backfill, and surface finishing to meet project specifications.
• Work on mass excavation, mainline pipe installation, and processed water projects.
• Utilize GPS machine control systems (preferred) or manual grading to required tolerances.
• Read and interpret construction plans, grade stakes, and laser levels to achieve precise elevations.
• Collaborate with supervision and earthmoving teams to ensure efficient site preparation.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues, following safety policies and OSHA regulations.
