Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Comfort with light assembly and basic production equipment.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Clear communication and teamwork in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components required for finished parts and assemblies.
• Operate balancing equipment to balance tool holders and custom products to specification.
• Operate laser-marking equipment to mark standard and custom products.
• Perform final visual, dimensional and functional inspections with precision gauges.
• Identify and hold defective or nonconforming products; communicate quality concerns.
• Apply rust preventive, label products and securely package finished goods for shipment.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions and manuals.
• Verify conformance and complete manufacturing and inspection documentation accurately.
• Follow operating, quality, safety and maintenance procedures.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized per SCHUNK's 5S standards
