Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc. is seeking a Filler Operator in Stockton, CA to run filling equipment for juice and applesauce products. You will ensure accurate fill weights, proper sealing, and adherence to quality and food safety standards.

The role requires operating line equipment, performing line changeovers, maintaining documentation, and supporting line start-ups and training new staff. Strong GMP awareness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating filling line machinery and related equipment.
• Ability to complete production paperwork, line sheets, and SOPs.
• Commitment to GMP and Food Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor filling machines, cappers, case packers, and related line equipment.
• Ensure containers are filled to correct weights/volumes and meet specifications.
• Verify correct packaging materials are used and properly labeled.
• Perform line changeovers and adjust filling heads, guides, and conveyors.
• Monitor performance and perform minor adjustments to maintain function.
• Clear jams and restart equipment; communicate issues to supervisor or maintenance.
• Document production and quality checks in real time.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and allergen control requirements.
• Participate in line start-ups/shutdowns and shift handoffs.
• Assist in training new staff on the line.
• Other duties as assigned.
