Job summary

New Vision Co-op in Minnesota is seeking a production assistant to perform basic feed production tasks and assist advanced technicians. You will help produce custom nutritional feed products, including pellets, crumbs, and meal for bags, totes, or bulk delivery.

You will operate controls, weigh ingredients, monitor inventory, and assist with maintenance while keeping safety and cleanliness as a priority. The role requires physical work and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Maintenance and mechanical skills are required.
• Computer skills are required.
• Customer service skills are expected.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly is required.
• Ability to work in heights and dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate the control panel and feed load-out.
• Weigh and hand add ingredients to match the mixing schedule.
• Monitor ingredient inventory in the micro bin system.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
• Comply with regulatory and company policies and perform accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist team members in other areas as needed.
