Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and part prints.
• Basic grinding knowledge.
• Beginning-level MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding experience.
• Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
• Team oriented with good communication.
• Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, route sheets, and specs to determine methods.
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG) including parameters and materials.
• Perform basic saw operations and painting as required.
• Measure and inspect dimensions using micrometers and calipers.
• Identify defects and report variances to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; follow safety procedures.
• Contribute to team meetings to resolve cost/quality/production issues.
