Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an Assembler to join our Texas manufacturing team. You will perform mounting, posting and aligning parts, set up equipment for testing, and maintain production records to assemble comfort units to specifications.

You will follow safety guidelines, read blueprints, and work with supervisors to ensure quality and timely production. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read a tape measure, and basic carpentry/construction experience is a plus.

• Must have good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble parts to completely assemble comfort units.
• Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Visually inspect assembled products for quality and proper function.
• Package units and parts with required components and manuals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace and support other department duties.
