Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated math and blueprint reading ability.
• Ability to operate punch and brake presses by setting glides and making ram adjustments.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Complete required training in the use of measuring instruments, gauges and test equipment.
• Complete training in reading and understanding blueprint specifications.
• Demonstrate above average mechanical aptitude.
• Understand decimals and fractions.
• Work well with others and show team player behavior.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects frequently; stand/walk 100% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines to produce a finished product.
• Examine blueprints, drawings and work orders for specifications.
