Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Beaverton, OR, is seeking a Fab Process Development Technician 2 to work in a cleanroom, processing thin-film substrates and applying photolithography techniques to deliver high-quality products for customers.

You will set up, operate, and calibrate complex equipment, handle chemicals safely, and analyze SPC data while mentoring fellow technicians as you advance within a fabrication department.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience in Fab/cleanroom environments.
• Experience with photolithography and chemical handling preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow detailed process instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform metal etching, plating, and substrate processing operations.
• Conduct final inspections of substrates to ensure quality compliance.
• Operate and troubleshoot various fabrication equipment as needed.
• Develop subject matter expertise in at least one fabrication area and train others.
• Create and edit detailed process instructions and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate complex equipment per specifications.
• Collect, organize, and analyze SPC data to monitor performance.
• Follow complex system-driven commands and workflows.
• Safely handle solvents and chemicals following safety and environmental protocols.
