Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for an assembly technician in Missouri. You will assemble components to specification, read blueprints, install hardware, insulate panels, and complete related paperwork. You will operate hand tools such as rivet guns and welding equipment, and may assist with crane-assisted material handling on the floor.

Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential. Salary is quoted hourly and the role includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Identifies proper parts by reading specification sheets and blueprints.
• Assembles parts to specification and installs hardware per spec.
• Insulates panels as described on the specification sheet.
• Completes appropriate paperwork during production.
• Uses rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools.
• Assists others in performing duties as needed.
• Bridges crane or hoist shipments from shipping to work areas.
