Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring an Assembler in the United States. You will perform mounting, posting, and aligning parts, set up equipment for testing, and maintain production records to assemble comfort units to specifications.

You will follow safety guidelines, read blueprints, coordinate with teammates, and ensure quality through visual inspections. A high school diploma and ability to read a tape measure are required.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble parts and components to complete comfort unit assemblies.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and address shortages or outages.
• Visually inspect assemblies to ensure proper alignment and function.
• Package units and parts with warranties and manuals; maintain a clean, orderly workplace.
