Job summary

Vishay UltraSource in Hollis, NH is seeking a Machine Operator in the Etch Department to support a precision manufacturing environment. You will verify equipment, prepare etching chemicals, perform chemical changes, inspect substrates, and operate measurement systems to ensure quality.

The role requires reading dimensional drawings, familiarity with cleanroom protocols, and strong attention to detail. US citizenship or permanent residency per ITAR is required; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret dimensional drawings.
• Experience in cleanroom manufacturing preferred.
• US Citizen or permanent resident per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition before using.
• Make-up all etching chemicals per routings and manufacturing procedures.
• Chemical change-overs using proper PPE.
• Inspect substrates for proper photoresist quality prior to etching.
• Touch up intricate images, holes, slots using a hand/foot dispenser and microscope.
• Wet etch substrates using manual and automated methods.
• Verify critical dimensions on substrates using Nikon microscope system.
• Tape test or inspect etched substrates to ensure quality etching.
• Strip photoresist from substrates and inspect 100% for complete cleanliness.
• Operate Dektak metal thickness measurement system.
