Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Paint Operator to prepare surfaces and apply epoxy and urethane wet paints for high-grade finishes on parts or products.

You will work in a manufacturing setting, adjusting spray gun valves, masking non-coated areas, and maintaining spray equipment. The role requires basic arithmetic, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow safety protocols to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to utilize basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply masking tape and/or caps to protect parts not to be coated.
• Apply epoxy and urethane coatings to surfaces.
• Adjust valves on spray guns to regulate spray width and pressure.
• Pull trigger and direct spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
• Maintain and clean spray equipment including booth maintenance.
• Make suggestions to supervisors for improvements.
