AppleOne Employment Services in Charlotte, NC seeks an Engineering Documentation Specialist to create and maintain technical manuals for machine tools and turnkey automation systems, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to produce clear, accurate documentation for customers, service staff, internal operations, and quality systems.

You will support engineers by developing documentation, refining SOPs, updating SolidWorks drawings, BOMs and related files, and ensuring consistency

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field.
1-2 years of engineering, drafting or technical documentation experience.
Proficiency with SolidWorks; CAD, Adobe Acrobat and MS Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain technical manuals for machine tools and turnkey automation systems.
Assist engineers in developing documentation and user guides.
Update CAD drawings, BOMs and engineering documents to reflect changes.
Develop SOPs, templates and documentation standards for the Engineering dept.
Support ISO 9001 compliance, including document control and audits.
Assemble and maintain documentation packages for customers, dealers and service teams.
