Job summary

Power Solutions International in Itasca, IL is seeking a Team Member Assembly to assemble engine components and subassemblies per blueprints and standardized work instructions.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read diagrams, and use micrometers and calipers; safety gear and lean practices are emphasized.

Work hours are 5:30am–4:00pm Monday–Thursday on the 1st shift; pay is $19.00 per hour plus overtime, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions/man diagrams.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive assembly.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge or ISO9001 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or install engine components and subassemblies per blueprints and work instructions.
• Verify product quality using quality checklists and report defects.
• Measure critical dimensions with micrometers and inspect assemblies.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and assist with team lifts.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
