Job summary

Greystone of Lincoln is seeking an Electroplater for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in Rhode Island. You will apply metallic coatings to substrates, ensuring durable, aesthetically pleasing finishes while following safety and environmental regulations.

Ideal candidates have a background in chemical processing or a strong willingness to learn electroplating techniques, read technical documents, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical electroplating education is a plus.
• Previous electroplating or chemical processing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electroplating techniques and surface prep.
• Familiar with various plating metals and industry standards.
• Ability to read technical docs, instructions and blueprints.
• Safety-conscious with environmental compliance focus.
• Effective team player with good communication.
• Able to work on the 2nd shift, evenings and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate electroplating processes per procedures; prep workpieces.
• Prepare chemical solutions; monitor pH, temp, concentration.
• Clean and prep substrates; inspect surfaces for defects.
• Apply coatings of nickel, gold, silver; adjust parameters.
• Perform quality checks on thickness and adhesion.
• Troubleshoot plating issues with maintenance/engineering.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance.
• Record process data and inspections.
• Maintain plating equipment and tanks; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules.
