Job summary

Volt is hiring an Electronics and Mechanical Assembler in Irving, TX. You will assemble small mechanical and electronic components, read blueprints, perform precision assembly, and conduct testing and calibration of products.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience in electronics/mechanical assembly, with attention to detail and strong manual dexterity. First shift hours run 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, full-time contract employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in electronics or mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or small parts assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with hand/power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive precision work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small mechanical and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Perform precision assembly following technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Conduct functional testing, calibration, and verification of assembled products.
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot assembly and production issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
• Complete production documentation, material tracking, and non-conformance reports.
• Follow SOPs, GMP requirements, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in training teammates when needed.
