Aerotek is seeking Production Technicians/Assemblers in Amherst, NY for a 1st shift role with a strong pay scale and hands-on training. You will assemble small electronic and sensor components, perform precision work under a microscope, and participate in soldering and calibration tasks.

This permanent, on-site position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, a pay range up to $26/hour, and opportunities for long-term growth in a clean, climate-controlled facility with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with small-part assembly or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing precision work under a microscope.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic and sensor components.
• Perform precision assembly and inspection under a microscope.
• Learn and perform soldering, testing, and calibration.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
• Complete quality checks and record production results.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
