Job summary

Volt is urgently hiring an Assembly Technician in Tempe, AZ. The role involves assembling electronic and electro-mechanical components, interpreting technical documents, and wiring and soldering per blueprints.

A 12-month full-time contract or contract-to-hire arrangement is offered. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–3 years of relevant experience, with good manual dexterity and basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform basic PC operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations including skilled hand work or automated equipment.
• Comprehend and interpret technical specifications, terms and documents.
• Follow methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing per blueprints.
• Make setups and adjustments maintaining tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Contract length: 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire.
