Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated invites applications for an Assembler in Miamisburg, OH. You will assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems using detailed instructions and may perform soldering, potting, epoxy, and laser welding. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified individuals, with a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thurs).

Candidates must have a high school diploma and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to obtain and maintain IPC/J-STD Certification within 90 days of employment.
Ability to obtain an ATF Possessor Permit.
Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all levels of the organization.
Intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Energy requirements.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems per instructions.
Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, bonding, curing and laser welding.
Install finished assemblies in cases or packing material and assemble components.
Cross-train on other programs within the facility.
Perform inline testing and inspections to meet production standards.
Utilize schematics and blueprint drawings to complete work.
Work with occasional overtime, typically on Fridays.
