Teledyne Relays in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking an Assembly Technician to contribute to precision switching solutions. You will assemble small components under a microscope, read and interpret assembly drawings, and perform semi-routine tasks with clear instructions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of mechanical assembly experience; IPC J-STD-001 Inspector certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of mechanical assembly experience required.
• Preference for IPC J-STD-001 Inspector CIS (Space level) certification.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures.
• Effective communication with Lead, Supervisor, Customers and colleagues.
• Ability to apply written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Good eye-hand coordination to assemble small parts.

Responsibilities

• Work with a microscope for assembly tasks.
• Read and understand assembly drawings and procedures.
• Handle semi-routine assignments with general guidance.
• Visually inspect solder joints, wiring, and staking per IPC J-STD-001.
• Assemble small components using a microscope.
• Adjust relays or switches and other electronics.
• Test relays or switches and other electronics.
