Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an assembly technician to support precision relay production at Teledyne Relays. The role involves microscope-based assembly, reading drawings, and semi-routine tasks within a collaborative team.

Minimum 2–4 years of mechanical assembly experience required; IPC J-STD-001 Inspector certification is preferred. You will read procedures, inspect solder joints, and ensure quality of relays and switches in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of mechanical assembly experience required.
• IPC J-STD-001 Inspector (CIS) certification preferred, Space level.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures.
• Strong communication with Lead, Supervisor, Customers as needed.
• Good eye-hand coordination to assemble small parts.
• U.S. Person required (citizens, permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

Responsibilities

• Work with a microscope to assemble small components.
• Read and understand assembly drawings and procedures.
• Perform semi-routine assignments with general instructions.
• Visually inspect solder joints and wiring to IPC J-STD-001.
• Assemble components under a microscope and test relays/switches.
• Adjust and test relays or switches and other electronics.
