Job summary

Caton Connector Corp. is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform cable, connector, wiring, and electromechanical assembly with limited supervision. The role requires broader process proficiency and the ability to interpret production documents and perform quality checks.

Responsibilities include setting up soldering, crimping, and related processes; reading drawings and BOMs; verifying workmanship; and supporting multiple work areas. Some qualification in electronics and basic math is expected.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant assembly experience; capable of intermediate level proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with soldering, crimping, and ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and perform soldering, crimping, wire preparation, potting, adhesive application, and mechanical assembly.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs, specifications, and work instructions; use fixtures, equipment, and measuring devices.
• Verify workmanship against requirements; troubleshoot within approved methods.
• Support multiple work areas and answer routine questions from less-experienced technicians.
