Job summary

AMETEK Process Instruments is seeking a mechanical assembler to join our team. The candidate will assemble, modify, wire solder, and adjust instrument assemblies and subassemblies, following method sheets and documenting work as required.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, pulling spare parts, packaging and shipping orders, and occasionally performing other duties as needed. Minimum education, blueprint reading, soldering ability, and lifting up to 65 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to solder and read blueprints; capable with hand tools.
• Overtime may be required; lift up to 65 pounds; safety equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, wire solder, and adjust instrument assemblies/subassemblies.
• Follow method sheets and material handling procedures to prevent shortages.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure all ship dates are met.
• Assemble kit assemblies and handle packaging/shipping of customer orders.
• Occasionally perform other duties as needed.
