Job summary

Newton Scientific, a Rigaku subsidiary, seeks an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the production of precision electro- mechanical products in a fast-paced facility. This full-time, hourly position focuses on mechanical and electronic assembly, soldering, inspection, and documentation.

Training is provided for motivated candidates with a hands-on mindset. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of assembly/manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and subassemblies per work instructions, drawings, and specs.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly using hand tools and fixtures.
• Assemble electronic components and wiring harnesses.
• Perform through-hole and surface Mount soldering as needed.
• Apply adhesives and assembly materials as directed.
• Inspect assemblies for workmanship and compliance with specs.
