Job summary

GridBridge, Inc. in Greeneville, TN, is seeking a Production Assembly Operator to assemble electrical components per work instructions and BOM. You will use both hands, inspect quality, and perform soldering/test steps with attention to detail in a quiet work area.

The role requires reading simple instructions, basic math for small part handling, and good manual dexterity. No supervisory duties; path to stable, full-time work with standard shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and working with dollars, weights, volumes and distances.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out short, simple instructions and solve basic problems.
• Familiarity with standard computer systems and applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operator sits or stands at a workstation and, using both hands, places parts into a fixture and assembles/solders/test components per the Work Instructions and the supplied Bill of Material.
• Operator has good vision and hand/finger dexterity to manipulate fine parts.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
