Job summary

MALOYA LASER INC is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our Commack, NY team. This hands-on role focuses on building and wiring high-quality electrical components, following precise schematics and blueprints.

You will solder, crimp, and terminate wires, inspect finished assemblies for functionality, and troubleshoot any issues. A high school diploma and attention to detail are required, with prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly or related manufacturing roles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Proficiency in soldering, wire termination, and using hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a production team.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, wiring harnesses, and subassemblies per schematics/blueprints.
• Solder, crimp, and terminate wires/connectors to spec.
• Inspect and test assemblies for functionality and quality.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Troubleshoot and identify defects in electrical assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Document work performed and report discrepancies to supervisors.
