Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Electric Motor Repair Mechanic to diagnose, repair, test, and rebuild motors and generators in a hands-on setting focused on quality and safety.

The role requires repairing various motor types, operating shop equipment, and documenting processes with Apple devices and Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed; trade training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires repair experience on industrial electric motors/generators.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect, disassemble, diagnose, repair, assemble, test, and paint industrial electric motors and generators.
• Perform repairs on three-phase AC induction motors, synchronous motors, wound rotor motors, DC motors and generators.
• Document repair processes using Apple devices and photograph work throughout the repair cycle.
• Complete reports using Microsoft Windows and Excel.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely.
