Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience with wire EDM processes preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software relevant to EDM programming.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program EDM machines using CAD/CAM software to create precise machining instructions from engineering drawings.
• Set up and operate wire EDM machines, install electrodes, fixtures, and monitor cycles.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of EDM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specs.
