Job summary

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating EDM equipment in a machine shop.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T symbols.
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wire and sinker EDM machines for daily production runs.
- Read blueprints and work instructions to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
- Load and align workpieces and electrodes on the machine table.
- Monitor cutting cycles and adjust settings to hold tolerance.
- Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Record production counts and inspection results on job paperwork.
- Report tooling wear, defects, and machine issues to the supervisor.
