The Pivot Group Network is actively sourcing EDM Operators for opportunities in the Hart, MI area. We partner with manufacturers in Oceana County and nearby towns to connect skilled workers with roles that fit their experience, with multiple companies potentially hiring now or in the near future.

These roles involve setting up and operating wire and sinker EDM machines, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality through precise measurements. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Basic math skills for offsets and dimensions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Prior experience operating EDM equipment in a machine shop.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Record production counts and inspection results on job paperwork.
• Report tooling wear, defects, and machine issues to the supervisor.
• Set up and operate wire and sinker EDM machines for daily production runs.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
• Load and align workpieces and electrodes on the machine table.
• Monitor cutting cycles and adjust settings to hold tolerance.
