Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced EDM Operator to join their precision manufacturing team in Wisconsin. The role involves setting up and operating Conventional EDM machines and producing electrodes with tool room equipment.

The position offers pay from $22 to $27 per hour based on experience, with first shift; third shift opportunities may be available. You will read blueprints and technical documents, determine tooling and machining parameters, monitor operations, and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Conventional EDM machining experience.
• Experience in tooling and production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Conventional EDM machines
• Manufacture and redress electrodes using tool room equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical documents
• Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining parameters, and machining sequences
• Adjust machine settings to maximize machining efficiency and productivity
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary process adjustments
• Measure and inspect workpieces using micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection tools
• Record inspection data as required
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, programmers, and production staff regarding job status and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
