ProCraft Cabinetry in Phoenix is seeking an Edge Band Operator to prepare and operate the edge banding line for cabinetry components. You will calibrate settings, load materials, monitor quality, and perform routine maintenance to ensure precise, high-quality finishes.

You will collaborate with the Production Lead/Supervisor, participate in cross-training across warehouse functions, and help maintain safe working conditions while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Good attendance is essential.
• Attention to detail and checking labels to match cabinets, color, size, etc.
• Maintain a stable work pace and follow supervisor instructions.
• Input correct sizing and formatting for cuts.
• Serve as quality control by reporting deficiencies and maintaining quality.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Equipment setup abilities and willingness to train/cross-train.
• Lift up to 100 pounds with safety (team lift when appropriate).
• Measure to 1/16 inch using a tape measure.
• Warehouse experience; forklift certification not required.

Responsabilités

• Setup and calibrate edge banding machine per job specs.
• Operate edge banding machine to apply edging to cabinetry components.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure uniform edge banding.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Load materials and manage inventory to prevent delays.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Record production data and report to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members across production areas.
• Troubleshoot jams or misfeeds and suggest process improvements.
• Assist in training new operators and cross-training as needed.
