Job summary

DPR Construction in Texas is seeking an experienced drywall installer to join our field team. Installs metal stud framing and drywall panels, ensures accurate measurement, cutting, and secure attachment to framing while maintaining safety and quality on all phases of drywall work.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 2–4 years in drywall installation or finishing, and OSHA 10. An accredited apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years drywall installation/finishing experience preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Installs metal stud framing and drywall panels with accurate measurement and secure attachment.
• Inspects finished work for smoothness and alignment per project specs; addresses deficiencies.
• Coordinates with trades to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
• Keeps records of materials used and progress for reporting and inventory.
