Job summary

United Drywall and Contracting is seeking motivated drywall professionals to inspect, finish, and prepare walls for final finishes on a variety of projects. You will work with carpenters and other trades to ensure alignment with blueprints, reading schematics to place panels, trim, and fittings, and addressing mold or water damage when needed.

The role prioritizes attention to detail, quality workmanship, and collaboration across trades, with a focus on safety and craftsmanship on residential

Qualifications

• Prior construction site experience with drywall installation or finishing is essential.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect drywall installations to identify dents, gaps, or uneven surfaces.
• Smooth surfaces with hand tools and sanding equipment.
• Apply joint compound (mud) and tape to seams and joints.
• Repair water damage or mould issues by replacing damaged drywall.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine drywall panel placement.
• Install trim, doors, fixtures, and moldings as needed.
