Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Closer to coordinate and prepare loan documentation, ensuring compliance with loan approval, policies, and regulations. You will manage a large pipeline, liaise with loan officers, attorneys, and vendors, and ensure timely closing and disbursement.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial loan closings, strong knowledge of due diligence, loan documentation, and regulatory requirements, with solid organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of commercial loan documentation and structures (CRE, asset-based lending, C&I, etc.).
• Knowledge of due diligence requirements for commercial loans (corporate documents, leases, subordination, etc.).
• Stays current on banking regulations and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the closing of commercial loans.
• Reviews loan terms and compliance requirements.
• Performs due diligence and prepares loan documents.
• Manages large closing pipeline and deadlines.
• Liaisons with loan officers, attorneys, third-party vendors and customers.
• Ensures timely follow-up and disbursement of loan proceeds.
