Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector I, Machining Quality to perform routine inspections per technical docs with established methods. The role emphasizes data review, feature identification, and accurate reporting in a manufacturing setting.

You will work with basic inspection equipment, read blueprints, and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 while contributing to 5S practices and potentially supporting other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Basic proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with GD&T symbols per ASME Y14.5.
• Fluent in setup of simple parts and use of basic inspection equipment.
• Clear written and verbal communication; 5S participation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Locate programs, load components, run basic inspection programs, and report results.
• Identify features for inspection and assign dimensional values and tolerances per print.
• Maintain punctual on-site attendance and flex with business needs.
• May support other functional areas as needed and overtime/alternate shifts.
