Independent Rebuild Specialist in Colorado is seeking a Diesel Machinist to rebuild Caterpillar engines, inspect and machine components, and ensure parts meet strict specifications. You will work with the Lead Machinist, operate CNC and machining equipment, and document findings for quality control.

The role emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous learning in a fast-paced remanufacturing environment. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of precision measurements.
• Experience operating Rottler CNC machining equipment or equivalent.
• Ability to inspect, measure, and evaluate Caterpillar engine components using precision tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work safely in a loud environment.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, repair, and prepare engine components for remanufacturing.
• Measure engine blocks, crankshafts, camshafts, and other parts for wear and serviceability.
• Utilize precision equipment to verify components meet specifications.
• Operate machining equipment to resurface blocks, bore, and perform other operations.
• Document inspection findings with reports and photos.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and safe procedures.
