Job summary

D&J Precision Machine, a Burnout Brands Company, seeks a Cylinder Head Technician for our Cambridge, Ohio facility. This onsite role focuses on inspecting, machining, and reconditioning cylinder heads for diesel engines, ensuring they meet strict performance and quality standards.

The position requires hands-on machining with precision tools, reads blueprints, and adherence to remanufacturing practices. Competitive hourly wage and growth opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate returned cylinder heads for damage, cracks, and wear using diagnostic tools, visual inspection, and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform machining operations such as resurfacing, valve seat cutting, valve guide replacement, and porting to restore cylinder heads to factory specifications.
• Conduct pressure testing and crack detection procedures to ensure cylinder heads are free of defects and suitable for remanufacturing.
• Rebuild cylinder heads by installing new components such as valves, valve seals, guides, and springs.
