Motion Industries is seeking a Fabricator to interpret blueprints, set up and operate fabricating equipment, and assemble dies and tooling with high precision. You will inspect pieces for defects, measure to spec, and follow safety protocols.

Under supervision, you will modify dies to engineering changes and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. This role is on-site in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly.
• Operate fabricating machines (brakes, rolls, shears, grinders, drill presses).
• Weld components and assemble dies or tooling to spec.
