Job summary

Oetiker, Inc. is seeking a die setter for its metal stamping manufacturing facility in the United States. You will start up and shut down machines, change coils, and keep tooling aligned to pass FAIR quality checks.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and preferably 3 years of die-setting experience in metal stamping. Strong inspection, math and reading skills are essential, with focus on safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 3 years of die setter experience in a metal stamping manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all manufacturing machines.
• Change coils and set up tooling on machines.
• Un-jam Bihler, Lens, Finzer, BMS, Spako and Ing Yu equipment.
• Regrind dies and replace modules to pass quality checks.
• Operate overhead crane and pull tooling from Lean Lift.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers and gauges.
• Enter inspection data into Fastcheck and maintain a clean 5S environment.
