Job summary

Safran Defense & Space, Inc. in Camarillo, CA is seeking an Integrated Dewar and Cooler Assembly Technician I to support fast-paced production of IDCAs, learning and applying standardized assembly processes with emphasis on quality, cleanliness, and safety.

You will perform basic assembly and inspection under supervision, document results, follow procedures, and work in a cleanroom, adhering to FOD and ESD protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly or similar precision manufacturing.
• Experience assembling and testing dynamic electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to assemble IDCAs.
• Perform basic assembly, handling, and inspection under supervision.
• Participate in training for dewar assembly processes and related procedures.
• Conduct incoming inspection of components using standard measurement tools.
• Maintain cleanroom standards per FOD and ESD protocols.
• Identify and report defects or process issues to engineering or supervision.
• Document work performed and communicate results.
