Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Detector Test Technician to perform quality control testing and evaluation of detector systems and electronic components. Responsibilities include troubleshooting vacuum and electronic issues, loading Ge crystals into cryogenic systems, and supporting detector manufacturing.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Electronics and at least two years of troubleshooting experience, with proficiency in oscilloscope use and soldering.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics.
• Minimum of two years' experience as Electronics Technician in a troubleshooting role.
• Experience with good soldering practices.

Responsibilities

• Build radiation detector vacuum systems and assemble internal components.
• Load Ge crystals into cryogenic systems and manage parts for vacuum assemblies.
• Perform soldering and/or brazing of components.
• Provide support across detector manufacturing activities.
