Job summary

Wastequip in Lakeland, FL is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to handle order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. You will maintain records, prepare items for shipment, and assist in production of hose and fittings while keeping work areas clean and organized.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse operations, a valid driver's license with clean record, forklift experience a plus, and basic computer/data entry skills. A strong sense of urgency and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving or material handling.
• Production/mechanical experience or aptitude is ideal.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record; forklift experience a plus.
• Computer literacy with data entry and part look-up skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; sense of urgency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment and process parts orders for shipment.
• Assist in production of hose and fittings; maintain clean work areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks and shelves; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Maintain truck, warehouse and equipment in orderly condition.
