Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Deburr Technician to support our machining team in Hawthorne, CA. The role focuses on final finishing of CNC parts with attention to detail, long-standing posture, and ability to work with precision tools.

Responsibilities include grinding, inspecting surfaces for defects, removing imperfections, maintaining a clean workspace, and installing aircraft-grade hardware as needed. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1+ years of deburring/grinding/machining experience or completed trade program.
• Ability to stand and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items using hand and power tools.
• Examine surfaces to identify defects and remove imperfections.
• Clean and organize the work area to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Install aircraft grade hardware such as STI as required.
