Job summary

Kearfott Corporation in North Carolina is seeking a Deburr Operator to remove burrs and sharp edges from precision components using a full range of machine tools. You will set up and operate machines for single or progressive operations while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires blueprints reading, shop math, and the ability to use precision measuring instruments. A High School Diploma and 1 year of manufacturing experience are required; technical schooling is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 year hands-on manufacturing experience required; 1–3 years machining preferred.
Must read blueprints and understand operation sheets.
Must be able to use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from precision components using the full range of machine tools in the Deburr department.
Set up and operate standard machines to complete single or progressive operations on standard parts.
Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and operation sheets.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and quality.
