Job summary

Timken in Lebanon, NH is seeking a team member to perform repetitive simple machine setups, deburring and polishing bearing parts following established procedures. You will use picks, drills, and optical aids to remove burrs and prepare components for final assembly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills are necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Good hand-eye coordination and PPE safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Use picks, dental drills, or other tools to remove burrs from critical areas, often with optical assistance.
• Inspect parts under a microscope, using gauges and tactile feedback.
• Operate Extrude Hone or similar equipment to deburr and finish parts.
• Perform Hone and Tumble operations as required or directed.
• Assist with training employees as needed.
• Inspect own work and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Record data on designated forms and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Move materials as directed and follow safety rules.
