Essmann’s Cabinetry and Millwork is seeking a meticulous Data Entry professional for a full-time role at our Illinois City, Illinois location. You will input and maintain company data, review for errors, and generate reports to support multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has proven data-entry experience, excellent typing speed, and strong MS Excel skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data entry, data clerk, or similar administrative role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing or woodworking industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter a high volume of data from various sources, such as client orders, supplier invoices, and production records, into our company database.
• Review and verify data for errors or omissions, correcting any inconsistencies to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain and update existing records on a regular basis.
• Generate reports and retrieve data for various departments as required.
• Organise and file documents to maintain a clear and accessible record-keeping system.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
