Job summary

New Century FS, Inc. in Albion, IA seeks an Applicator to apply crop production inputs to fields according to label rates and safety standards. You will operate sprayers or floaters, drive trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, and keep accurate records of applications and equipment maintenance.

You will balance loads, assist with inventory, and follow DOT and company safety policies while delivering reliable service to customers and contributing to the organization’s profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements within 1 year of employment.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a pesticide/applicator license or other necessary licenses.
• Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

• Operates commercial sprayer or floater to apply crop inputs following rates and pesticide labels.
• Records application data according to regulations and standards.
• Safely set up, maintain and operate sprayers, floaters, trucks, and related equipment.
• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Load/unload, balance loads, and ensure proper axle weights.
• Assist with inventory control and log daily application records.
